Biography

Eva L. Sharp, 82, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, July 20, 2009 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. She was born January 10, 1927 in Vowells Mills, Louisiana to Julia Presley Roberts and Andrew Gay Roberts.
She has been a resident of Port Arthur since 1949. Eva was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Port Arthur.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and two brothers, her husband Norman O. Sharp.
She is survived by her daughter Susan S. Smith of Corsicana, Texas, her sons David B. Sharp and his wife Pam of Port Arthur, Texas, George M. Sharp of Port Arthur, Texas along with ten grandchildren Allison Thompson, Katelyn Thompson, Michelle Diane Sharp, Shawn Nicole Sharp, Kassie Lynn Sharp, Desire’ Crutcher,
Allen Roberts III, Stephen Roberts, Tricia Strite and Helen Sharp as well as numerous great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Family request memorial contributions to be made in Eva’s memory to First Baptist Church of Port Arthur.
