Dell Lawson Tooke left a vivid and indelible impression. It's been decades since the Port Arthur school days in which I saw her daily, but memories of her seem recent. I think everyone who knew her thought highly of Dell and held her in great regard. She had a special radiance. My deep condolences for the loss of her earthly life go to her close family and friends.

I have so many fond memories of Dell and myself. We were church friends, school friends, and our parents were friends. One of my fond memories was going to Dallas with my mom and Dell and her mom to buy our wedding dresses. May your good memories help heal you as you grief your loss.
