Norman "Dochie" Joseph Domec September 25, 1934 - November 19, 2017

Norman J. “Dochie” Domec, 83, of Groves passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his home.

He was born on September 25, 1934 to his parents, Ewell Jean Domec and Jessie Cessac Domec in Port Arthur, Texas. Dochie has been a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Bishop Byrne High School in 1953. He served in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Dochie worked as a supervisor at Texaco-Huntsman for over 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Wilson Paul Domec and David Alan Domec.

Dochie is survived by his children, Kelly Marie Bolfa of Pine Prairie, LA. , Gina Rene Caballero of Corpus Christi, TX., Wilson Paul Domec of Missouri, numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Marie Manovich of Pasadena, TX. and his brother, Henry Roland Domec and wife, Gerry of South Carolina along with several nieces and nephews as well as his caregiver, Amanda Shelton.

A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date at St. James Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.
