Joyce Lucille Bourne

Joyce Lucille Bowerman Bourne, 93, of Vidor, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Vidor Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 17, 1921 to Irene Shook Bowerman and William Edward Bowerman in Branch County, Michigan. She has been a resident of the area since January 1, 1970. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Vidor. She is survived by her loving husband, Alston Bourne of Vidor, two step-sons, Mike Bourne of Port Neches and Alston Bourne, Jr. of Wildwood, numerous grandchildren as well as great grandchildren. In honor of her wishes to be cremated with no service, the family is honoring her memory. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves.
