Joseph "Junior" Seaux

Joseph "Junior" Seaux, 84, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. He was born on June 7, 1930 to Nola Allamand Seaux and Wilbert Seaux Sr. in Mire, La. Junior lived in Port Arthur/Groves for most of his life. He retired from Gulfport Shipyard as a supervisor/welder after 35 years of service that included working at Levingston Shipyard. Visitation will be on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Graveside rites will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Scott, La. He is survived by his wife, Nora Seaux of Groves, Texas, his daughters, Sherry Martin of Houston, Texas, Jackie Armentor of Lafayette, La., Kathryn Garcia of Port Arthur, Texas, step-daughter, Nicole Reaux, step-son, Darryl Reaux, six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret of Galveston, Tx., his half-sisters, Mathilda Fisher, his half brothers, John Seaux of Scott, La., George Seaux of Duson, La., Billy Seaux of Youngsville, La., half-sister, Shirley Seaux of Youngsville, La. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Lionel and Eurice Seaux and his half-sister, Martha Bertrand
