Evelyn "Honey" Margaret Jones

Evelyn Margaret "Honey" Jones, 82, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014. "Honey" was a resident of Port Arthur for many years and retired from the Port Arthur Independent School District, where she worked as a librarian aide. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Jones; her parents, James and Winnie Miller; and by her beloved cat and companion, Leroy Brown Jones. Survivors include her son, Michael D. Jones of Port Arthur; daughter, Sheryl L. Jones of Houston; sister, Shirley Knighton of Port Arthur; and sister, Linda Wilson of Edmond, Oklahoma. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson Funeral Directors in Groves and as per her wishes there will be no services.
