Rose Mae DeRouen

Rose DeRouen, 79 of Groves, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at her residence. She was born on May 24, 1933 to Elizabeth Verrett and Joseph Jeanis in Hayes, LA. Rose lived in Port Acres for 48 years before moving to Groves. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Church. Visitation will be on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, TX. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and husband J. C. DeRouen. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Teller of Sabine Pass, Roseanna Lawler of Groves and Jocelyn Leiferman of Beaumont, son Michael DeRouen of Groves, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister, Ella Bult of Lake Charles, LA.
