Curtis Robert Gray

Curtis Gray, 87, of Groves, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at his residence. Curtis was born in Corinth, NY on March 31, 1925 to Maude Purdy and Pete Gray. Curtis worked as a City of Port Arthur employee at the waste water plant. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1943 thru 1946. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Gray of Groves, Texas; his son, Steven R. Gray of New York State; daughters, Laurie Baker of New York State, Colleen Karrick of Iowa, Mary Sue of Miami, Florida; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday October 6, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 P.M.
