Carl was such a sweet and caring man. His phrase that always stuck in my head was "Well thank you young lady, I will dance at your wedding". He had came to Audubon and visited me the Saturday before Valentine's Day and brought chocolate covered strawberries. He had said the doctor decided his heart was not strong enough , to do his knee surgery. He was really distraught because his knee always had hurt him. But I told him, "We wouldn't want anything to happen to you". So I was very sad, to hear it had happened. But take comfort in knowing his knee never gives him trouble any more, and I know all his loved ones in heaven were glad to be reunited with him in spirit! :) R.I.P Mr. Morales!

Mr. Carl was my neighbor when he lived at The Audubon. I first met him around Halloween and instantly looked up to him as a Grandpa figure! He shortly moved away and I helped him pack boxes and unload items at his new home. He treated me very well and we enjoyed several "Fah-gee-ta" meals together...he sure loved Shrimp Fajitas!! He will sorely be missed, but I know that in just speaking of his beloved Faye, he is dancing right next to her in Heaven.
