I have had the pleasure and immense blessing of knowing Johnny Viator all my life.Even though I so wish I knew him even longer. I say this because he was more than just a man . He was my Uncle Johnny. When I was just a little boy my mom would take Vickie and me 4 times a month to go to Port Acres to see family and when we went we always stopped to see Uncle Johnny,Nanny, and the family. It was always so endearing for me when I saw him because never treated me like I was some dumb punk kid or an aquaintance,or some he had to put up with. He always treated me as if I was one of his kids.Thats why he was my uncle Johnny even though he was alot more than just my uncle he was my second Daddy and I so love him for that. 4 things I will always remember about my uncle Johnny. 1st He so loved to cook and was so awesome at it. He could always make this fat boy want to eat more than I should.2nd his lust for life. My uncle Johnny so love to have fun. Especially when he went dancing no one could "CUT-A-RUG" like my uncle Johnny. 3rd his endurance of hard work especially when it came to providing and taking care of both my nanny and all of his family. So much so that he had enstill that in them to the same for their own family.4th and best of all his undying christ like love he never hesitated to show to anybody. A bible verse best descibes how he was with everybody. Mark 10:43-45 "But let it not be so among you, rather, who ever wishes to be great among you will be your servant.Who ever wishes to be first among you will be the slave of all. Because the son of man did not to come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransome for many". My uncle was always a giver because he always gave himself to not only to Nanny, his family and his friends, but,to each and everyone that was in the commuinty. He never met a stranger.Uncle Johnny I know your up there may you so welcomed and greeted by both the father, the son,the holy spirit, and all the angels and saints of heaven. May both Becky and Doug and all those that you have loved and those that loved you that went before you with open arms waiting to so embrace you.May you all dwell around God's sweet, endearing, holy throne. For we will miss you and we love you soo much. Love Don Don
