Owen Brown, Jr.

August 21, 1932 - July 9, 2011

Owen Brown Jr.,age 77 passed away on July 9, 2011 at his residence. Owen was born in Port Arthur on August 21, 1933 to Owen and Mary Eunice Sanguin Brown, Sr. Owen served his country in the Korean War, he was a fabricator and welder most of his life. Owen lost the love of his life just 3 months ago and couldn't go on without her. They are together again smiling and looking down on us still watching out for everyone. He will be missed and always remembered. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jeffery Brown, Chris Brown, Brad Casses, Michael Leggett, Tyler Brown and Clinton Robertson. Owen was preceded in death by his wife: Jeanette Brown, his parents, brothers, James and Tommy Brown and sisters, Minnie Romero and Dorothy Trahan. He is survived by his son, Randy Brown and wife Vicky, daughters, Diana Casses and husband Joe, Darlene LeBlanc and husband Rodney and son Glen Brown and his wife Katie, 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, also many nieces, nephews and friends. A gathering of family and friends will take place at 6554 Gulfway Drive after the service.
