Felix Antonio Solis, 48, of Groves, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. He was born June 16, 1962 to Elida and Felix Solis in Nuevo Laredo, Tamauilipas, Mexico. He has been a resident of Port Arthur for 35 years. Felix worked as a site coordinator for Southland Energy. He is survived by his wife, Nora DeHoyos Solis of Groves, Texas, daughter, Samantha Cruz of Port Arthur, Texas, sons, Fernando Solis and Felix Solis, Jr. both of Groves, Texas, granddaughter, Allyson Cruz of Port Arthur, Texas. He is also survived by his parents, Elida and Felix Solis of Mexico, his sisters, Maria Molina of Orange, Texas, Angelica Solis of Groves, Texas, Juany Solis of Mauriceville, Texas, his brothers, Javier Solis and Mario Solis both of Beaumont, Texas, Jesus Solis of Bridge City, Texas along with numerous nieces and nephews.
