Ruby Irene LeBlanc, 88, of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Pinehurst Nursing Home in Orange. She was born May 3, 1922 to Eva Evelyn Cole Izard and Solomon Franklin Izard in Dayton, Texas. She was raised in Waller, Texas before coming to Port Arthur at the age of 17. Ruby was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church in Orangefield. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence LeBlanc and her son, John Edwin Erickson. She is survived by her grandsons, John Christopher Erickson and wife Hollie Rachel and Gregory Dalton Erickson and wife Stephanie Paulette both of Kingwood, Texas, great granddaughter, Jordan Leigh Erickson, great grandsons, Trenton Kyle Erickson, Ian Kendel Erickson, Nicholas Edwin Erickson and Kadyn Tyler Erickson, daughter-in-law, Nelda Joan Erickson and husband Leo Borel of Orangefield, step-son, Glenn Lawrence LeBlanc and wife Elaine of Fannett.
