Lois Ann McLain

August 15, 1924 - March 12, 2010

Lois Duplantis McLain, age 85 of Port Arthur passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 at a local healthcare facility. She had been a lifelong resident of this area. Lois was of the Baptist faith and a retired switchboard operator for Bell telephone Company after 20 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond McLain, her parents Harris and Lottie Hebert Duplantis, son Ronald McLain, brother, "Beau" Duplantis, and sister "Dolly" Duplantis Norwood. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Terrell of Homestead, FL., grandson, Brian and his wife Elizabeth McLain of Port Neches, granddaughters, Teneal and husband Eric Callarman of Beaumont, Crystal McLain of Baytown, Rachel Terrell of Vidor, and Elizabeth Terrell of Dallas, Sister-In-Law Melba Duplantis of Nederland, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
