Marie Ortiz, 82 of Port Arthur passed away at her residence in Port Arthur on September, 5, 2009. Marie was born on August 15, 2009. Maria was born in Abbington, Va. to Weldon and Bertha Mae Harless Grubb on August 15, 1927. She was a resident of this area for 58 years and was a homemaker. Marie was preceded in death by her daughter Shirley Collazo. Marie is survived by her husband Raul J. Ortiz of Port Arthur, Son Johnny Bush of Nederland, Daughters, Dorothy Marie and husband Adrian Maddox of Lake Charles, Linda Romero and Mike Ventrello of Port Neches, Shelia Cruz and Javier Cardenas of Port Arthur, Darlene and husband Mike Daigle of Lumberton, and Christine Ruiz of Port Arthur, 46 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
