Richard Martin Daniel, II

Richard "Flat" Martin Daniel II, 57, of Groves, Texas passed away at Renaissance Hospital on Monday May 4, 2009. He was born July 7, 1951 to Juanita Elizabeth Daniel and Dr. R. M. Daniel in Port Arthur, Texas. Richard graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1969. He lived in Port Arthur for most of his life until he moved to Groves in 1998. Richard worked at Valero Refinery as a storehouseman since 1971. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Blanca Galvan Daniel of Groves, Texas, his sons Richard "Ricky" Daniel III and Chad Edward Daniel both of Groves, Texas, his grandson Michael K. Daniel.
