Jimmie Earl Dartez Jimmie Earl Dartez, 59, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, February 23, 2009 at his home in Port Arthur. He was born July 23, 1949 to Ruth and Leoday Dartez in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur. Jimmie worked as a welder with various companies before becoming disabled. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister Ruth Camille and her husband Wilson of Port Arthur, Texas, two brothers S. J. Porter and his wife Martha of Cleveland, Texas and Ernest Porter and his wife Barbara of Oklahoma along with numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
