Dane Kugler

October 10, 1950 - February 13, 2009

Dane Kugler, age 58 of Port Arthur died on Friday, February 13, 2009 at Christus St. Mary Hospital. Dane was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School. Dane also received his degree from Lamar Institute of Technology in electronics. Dane was employed as a truck driver, merchant seaman and electrician. During the Viet Nam War he served in the U.S. Navy aboard a submarine. Dane was preceded in death by his father George H. Kugler III and Grandparents Josephine Harmon, George and Julie Kugler, Henry and Rosie Meyer. He is survived by his mother; Barbara Meyer of Port Arthur and brother and sister-in-law Kim and Jackie Kugler of Ft. Worth.
