Arthurine Gentile Bourque, born on September 24, 1928, in Port Arthur, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, in her beloved hometown. A devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, she actively participated in the Alter Society and the Senior Club, spreading joy through her unwavering faith.

She was the proud grandmother of Kris Bourque and his wife, April, as well as a great-grandmother to Kaynon Bourque, Faith Williams and her husband, Josiah, Blaine Bourque with his fiancé, Makayla, and Peyton Bourque. The joy she found in life continues with her great-great-granddaughters, Josie and Charlie Williams, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Her bond with her brother, Jimmie Gentile, and his wife, Claudia, along with multiple nieces and nephews, also brought her immense happiness throughout her years.

Arthurine was preceded in death by her loving parents, Joseph and Orance Gentile, and her adoring husband of 60 years, Russell Bourque whom she married on June 7,1947. Their memories remain etched in the hearts of those who knew her, a testament to the deep connections she forged throughout her life.
