Ava Jane South

Ava Jane Milich South died peacefully at home in the early hours of Wednesday, March 25th, 2020.

Devoted wife, mother, retired nurse, a lifelong care-giver, Ava was preceded in her death by her husband of 56 years, Gordon South, and her son, Stephen South. She is survived by her children, Richard, Clayton, Lewis, and Molly South; her grandchildren Ashley Merkel and Kayla Joelle South, and great-grandchildren, Hayden Vetter, Psyrus South, and Maeby South-Poole.

Ava was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, including singing in the choir and the senior club.

Ava requested that, rather than sending flowers, a contribution be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, the Port Arthur YMCA, or a charity of your choice.
A mass and memorial service will be scheduled at later date.
