It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Jean LeBlanc, who passed away on July 13, 2026 at the age of 86.
Born on May 27, 1940 in DeRidder Louisiana, Betty lived a life defined by love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. Throughout life, she was known for her generous spirit, unwavering strength, and ability to make everyone feel welcome.
Betty worked many jobs throughout her life and found fulfillment in hard work, taking pride in doing every job with honesty, care, and excellence.
Whether spending time with family and friends, being outside in her yard, trips to Crystal Beach or New Orleans for food, home design projects, cooking, drawing her house plans or simply sharing stories over coffee, Betty appreciated life's simple blessings.
Above all, Betty treasured family. She cherished her lunch dates, love, and companionship shared with her sister-in-law throughout her illness. She is lovingly survived by her granddaughter Jasmine Wise; great grandchildren Ian and Sebastian; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and all whose lives were touched by her kindness.
She was preceded in death by her spouse Adam Ray LeBlanc, sister JoAnn Weber, daughter Crystle Rae Wise.
A funeral will be held on July 18th with visitation at 12:00 p.m.; services 1:00 p.m. at Clayton Thompson in the Groves. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate a life well lived.
