Gloria Ann Cochran

Gloria Ann Cochran, a beloved hairdresser and devoted housewife, passed away on September 13, 2025, in her cherished hometown of Beaumont, Texas. Born on February 11, 1946, Gloria was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.

Throughout her life, Gloria held a deep commitment to her faith, which served as the cornerstone of her existence. A steadfast member of New Horizon Church in Beaumont, her belief system guided her actions and interactions. If the church doors were open, she was there, embodying the spirit of community and devotion that she held dear.

As a hairdresser, Gloria was not just skilled in her craft; she possessed an innate ability to connect with people. Her clients became like family, and she relished the opportunity to brighten their days both with her artistry and her compassionate heart. Her career was a reflection of her personality—filled with care for others and an unwavering dedication to enhancing their beauty.

Gloria is survived by her loving daughter, Desari Roddy, and her siblings, brother John Mark Cochran and sister Margaret Cochran. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who cherished their time with her and will carry her memory forward in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse James Cochran, and her mother, Claudia Murphee. Their legacy lives on through Gloria’s compassion and the values she instilled in the generations that followed.
