Holly Laree Jones was born on December 18, 1978, in Port Arthur, Texas, and passed away on January 3, 2026. She lived with energy, creativity, and a deep devotion to her family and community.
Holly spent 26+ years with UPS in Port Arthur, where she worked as a supervisor and built a career she was proud of. Her creativity extended beyond her primary career through her work with Wild Flower Design and Events and Classic Finds, where she operated her jewelry business. Creating and designing were second nature to her and a true reflection of who she was.
She was actively involved in the Groves Chamber of Commerce and genuinely enjoyed supporting local events. The Groves Pecan Festival held a special place for her—especially the treasure hunt—and she proudly served as a judge for the pet contest in recent years.
Holly was also a dedicated supporter of the Beaumont Renegades, volunteering her time and enthusiasm to the team. Outside of her professional and community commitments, she loved fishing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Above all, she cherished time with her son, Jayden Dale Jones—playing games, sharing their love of baseball, and creating memories that will be forever treasured.
Holly is survived by her son, Jayden Dale Jones; her parents, Larry and Ree Vicknair; her sister, Susanne Thames; her brother-in-law, Benjamin; her niece, Vivien, all of Groves, Texas; and her life partner, Adrian Todd. She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Henry Jones.
Holly will be remembered for her creativity, her warmth, and her unwavering dedication to the people she loved. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the community she cared for so deeply.
A celebration of Holly’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Proctor Baptist Church in Port Arthur. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Adaptive Sports for Kids (www.adaptivesportsforkids.org) or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
