John Roland Schexnaider Jr.

John Roland Schexnaider Jr., a cherished son and beloved uncle, passed away on September 19, 2025, in Groves, Texas. Born on December 27, 1957, in Abbeville, Louisiana, he lived a life marked by dedication to his work and fondness for simple pleasures.

Throughout his career, he distinguished himself as a self-employed construction professional, bringing skill and professionalism to every project he undertook. His commitment to his craft was evident, and he earned the respect and admiration of those who had the privilege to work alongside him.

Aside from his professional life, John treasured the joys of relaxation, often finding peace in quiet moments. These simple pleasures were an integral part of who he was, allowing him to recharge and appreciate the world around him.

John is survived by his devoted mother, Juliet "Pinky" Schexnaider, and his niece, Tiffany Lynn Schexnaider. He was predeceased by his father, John Roland Schexnaider Sr.; his brothers, Mark Schexnaider and Michael Schexnaider; and his sister, Vickie Bishop.

John's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him. As we celebrate his life, we remember a man who not only worked hard but also cherished the moments of stillness and comfort that life offered him.
