Family was the center of Martha's universe. She is survived by her son, Patrick Keenan, and his wife Kim; her stepdaughters, LaDonna Sosa and Colette Ausmus, along with her husband Ken; and her stepson, Alfonso Sosa Jr. Martha also leaves behind her dear sister, Mary Carbajal and her husband, Tony, and sister Anita Oquita. Her legacy continues through her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who carry forward her love and spirit.
Martha’s hobbies were as vibrant as her personality. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was spending time at the casino playing the slots, nurturing her vibrant plants, or delighting in the sight of wild birds outside her window. These activities brought her profound happiness and reflected the beauty she found in everyday moments.
While Martha now rejoins her beloved husband, Alfonsa Sosa Sr., and her parents Rafael and Sara Oquita, along with her four siblings that preceded her, her spirit will linger in the hearts of all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Martha's remarkable life on Saturday, September 20, 2025, beginning with a visitation at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home at 5601 39th Street Groves, Texas, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park at 11:00 AM.
