Mary Ofelia Parsley Guillory, 90, of Port Arthur passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Houston Baytown Methodist Hospital.
Mary was born on January 3, 1930 in Victoria, Texas to parents Manuela "Emma" Salinas and Santiago "Jimmy" Zepeda. She had lived most of her life in Port Arthur and she was a private home caregiver. She attended St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed working in her garden, decorating her home and in her younger years she loved going dancing. Mary was a loving person who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Jimmy Zepeda, her husband, George Wilburn Parsley Sr., her son, Gary P. Parsley, her sibling, Mary Ramirez, Joe Zepeda, Alfonso Zepeda, Stella Gonzales, Emma Mindiola, Janie Rodriguez and her grandson, Curtis Collins III.
Mary is survived by her, sons, George W. Parsley Jr. and his wife, Mary Jane of Crystal Beach, her daughters, Esther Olsen and her husband, David of Beaumont, Beverly Collins and her fiancé, Danny Hilton of Bridge City and her brother, Lupe Zepeda and his wife, Ruth of Shiner, TX. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
A 1:00 PM funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
