Vicki Lynne Drake Beard

Vicki Lynne Drake Beard of Port Arthur, passed away peacefully at home after a battle with cancer.  She went to be with our Savior Jesus on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

She was born in Port Arthur and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1975.  It was there that she met her "Sweetie" Mark and they were later married on December 17, 1977.

She worked at Irvings Jewelry during high school until we were married.  She was a great salesperson because it was hard to say no to Vicki because of her positive attitude and joyful disposition.  Later, she worked as a travel agent, where again, she was great at it.  

She attended Procter Baptist Church which she dearly loved and was very active in many areas.  She was a great example of following Jesus and showing His love and encouragement to everyone who crossed her path.  She also loved her family dearly and she loved spending time with the three grandkids who called her Vivi.

She is survived by her husband, Mark, her son, Matt and his wife, Stevie, three grandchildren, Oliver, Scout, and Mattie, and her stepmother, Joyce.

Already in Heaven are her father, Larry Drake and her mom, Mary Ann Drake.

The visitation and service will be held at Procter Baptist Church in Port Arthur with visitation Monday, January 19th from 5pm-7pm and the service Tuesday the 20th at 10:30 am.
